Planning the factory of the future: Two-Day Seminar in Hannover

Professional and managerial staff can learn how to systematically plan a factory in the two-day practical seminar "Factory Planning". The training is offered by the Institute of Integrated Production Hannover (IPH) and the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) at Leibniz University Hannover.

The practical seminar "Factory Planning" imparts comprehensive knowledge about the planning of versatile factories. The most important fundamentals of factory planning will be explained and discussed intelligibly to all participants, ranging from the rough concept towards the detailed layout. Interactive workshops and case examples will give the participants the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice.

During the practical seminar the participants learn...

  • the basics of the process model of factory planning,
  • how to analyse material flow,
  • how to systematically structure a factory,
  • how to develop a layout step by step and
  • what modularity means.

The seminar is addressed to specialists and managers of manufacturing companies. There is a €1,050 fee plus tax per participant.
